Smart Voter Official Statement for Brian Dahle

Candidate for
Member of the State Assembly; District 1

This is a copy of information submitted to elections officials by the candidate

As a third-generation farmer, businessman, and a four-term Lassen County Supervisor, I know how difficult it is for businesses and families to survive. You can be certain, I'll fight to end mandates and fees that are putting small businesses out of business, and I'll oppose any attempts to raise taxes on hard working families.

Under my leadership, Lassen County has a balanced budget and is debt free. In the Assembly, I'll fight to create a balanced budget and focus on priorities like public safety and making it easier for small businesses to grow and create jobs.

I'll protect north state water rights and oppose any plans to ship our water to Southern California. That's one reason my candidacy is supported by twenty-four local County Supervisors and the Farm Bureaus of Shasta, Siskiyou, Sierra, Plumes, Nevada, Lassen, and Modoc Counties.

I believe in a hand-up, not a handout. I believe in individual responsibility and strong families. I believe in private property rights and the right to own firearms. I believe we must secure our borders and promote public safety.

California once led the world in economic vitality; today industries are leaving the State, gas prices are soaring, and food costs continue to climb. Your family deserves better. Together, we can restore the Golden State. I will work as hard for you and your family as I do my own. If you have any questions, my cell phone number is (530) 251-3888 or email Brian@BrianDahle.com.
