Achievements as city council member and Mayor:

Worked to successfully balance our budget without layoffs

Prioritized our economic development plan

Promoted health and recreation by supporting Cooley Landing as our first open space park

Worked to bring a full service grocery store to our City

Improved safety through building more sidewalks to schools

Supported a gang dismantling operation for safer streets

15% overall crime reduction in 2012

In my next term I plan to:

Promote the Ravenswood Business District Plan to create more jobs and increase revenues

Build more sidewalks to schools

Secure affordable housing

Support Parole re-entry programming

Make 101 pedestrian bridge a priority
