Put an educator on the school board

I offer a unique perspective as an educator. I had firsthand knowledge of the needs and challenges that students faced. I can help to strengthen an effective and efficient organization, reaching students, parents, staff and the community-at-large. I am a team player and will work to build a strong community, encourage open and positive communications, and will be responsive to stakeholders.

I agree that the primary responsibility of the Governing Board is to act in the best interest of every student in the district.

I retired from teaching one year ago. I am fortunate to have the daytime hours to devote to this job. I am comfortable on a school campus and believe that spending time with students, parents and staff in a school setting is a positive way to work together.
