I make decisions based on resident input and the cold, hard facts, not on ideologies or conspiracy theories. My main goal in the nonpartisan role of Mayor is to build a safe, healthy, thriving and sustainable San Luis Obispo.

Jan's Priorities

• Preserve SLO's unique natural, historical, social and cultural resources
• Update the General Plan's Land Use and Circulation Elements and expand bike paths
• Maintain a balanced budget, infrastructure investment, and pension reform
• Promote economic vitality, head-of-household jobs, clean businesses, affordable housing and a vibrant, safe downtown
• Implement the City Farm Master Plan and expand Open Space
• Improve Homeless services
• Support the arts and historical preservation
• Strengthen our neighborhoods
• Serve two more years as your Mayor and voice on City Council
