Candidate for
Commissioner; Port San Luis Harbor District

I am well qualified to serve as Commissioner of Port San Luis Harbor District because of my long-term experience with and knowledge of Port San Luis. I served on the Board of Commissioners from 1983 thru 1997 and from 2000 to the present and I know first-hand the operations, obligations and expectations of the District along with what it takes to work productively with the other commissioners. Professionally, I am a marine biologist with 30+ years experience; I know well the special demands and rewards of working in the marine environment and with ocean-related politics. Since 1978 I have kept a boat on a mooring in Port, and my family and I frequently sail, fish and swim there.
