Get involved outside of the council meetings.
As a council member I will encourage each council member to get more involved with their neighbors, local businesses and service organizations. The council should make it a point to drop in and participate in local neighborhood watch group meetings as well as school meetings. Join or at least attend Chamber of Commerce meetings. Invite the Building Industry Association or Realtors Association. Join the Rotary or Lions. Be more accessible to our taxpayers.
