My wife, Joyce, and I have been married over 40 years. We have lived in Lathrop for more than thirteen years. I retired from Pacific Bell after thirty two years in 2001. Subsequent to that I have worked 10 years for Escalon Unified School District currently working for Jefferson Elementary School District. During that time I have worked in the classroom assisting children with reading and arithmetic while serving as the Technology Coordinator for the district.

My qualifications for city council include approximately six years of current service on the council. One of which I was the Mayor Pro Tem. I served five years on the planning commission. Two years as Chairperson. Since moving to Lathrop I have served on the Manteca / Lathrop Library Taskforce and the San Joaquin County Library Taskforce. In addition I served on the Integrated Waste Committee, Delta Protection Committee and the Mental Health Services Committee. My community service also includes time as a volunteer tutor for Give Every Child A Chance, a member of the Lathrop Senior Center, a member of the Lathrop Friends of the Senior Center, treasurer for the Manteca / Lathrop Boys and Girls in it's first year, a charter member of the Lathrop Sunrise Rotary where I was treasurer for four years and president in 2007 + 2008 a member of the Lathrop Lions. Chairman of the Lathrop American Cancer Society Relay for Life 2010. July 1st Celebration Committee Fireworks Chairman. I supported the formation the Citizens Academy in Lathrop and was one of the first graduates. My record shows that I have and continue to be involved with activities that support all segments of our community
