"As a parent of a Sweetwater Graduate and South Bay Educator. I care deeply about our community and have committed myself to making our schools a better foar all our children."

"My vision is to provide effective leadership that listens to students, parents, teachers, support staff and community leaders."

My Accomplishments are:

All 12 Sweetwater District High Schools named Silver Medal winners by U.S. News & World Report.

120% increase in SDSU admissions through Compact for Success.

Reformed education to create Career Pathways at High Schools.

Stimulated local economy by creating hundreds of jobs through district construction programs.

Built Three Free Health Clinics and Maintained sworn Police Officers at all campuses.

All schools increased Academic Performance Index scores, Graduation rates reached 90%, Attendance 96%, Dropout rates decreased.

Established the "First Recognition event of Our Fallen Heroes" who graduated from SUHSD.

VISON

I pledge to:

Promote academic excellence through Career Pathways at all Middle and High Schools and require all students to take college prep classes. All students will graduate with a diploma and job skills.

Continue to increase graduation rates, college enrollment and decrease dropout rates.

Continue to promote Safe and Healthy Schools by implementing rigorous PE standards to combat childhood obesity and maintain Sworn Police Officers at all campuses.

Continue to pass a Balanced Budget on time and preserve as many jobs with no employee layoffs.

Continue funding athletics, visual and performing arts.
