Candidate for
Council Member; City of Solana Beach

Daniel Powell has been a Solana Beach resident and homeowner since 1996. He is an Ironman Triathlete, investor and philanthropist. Daniel is running for Solana Beach City Council to get the city's finances back on track without raising taxes or fees.

Daniel has the experience and record of success to fix our city's financial problems. He is a graduate of the Marshall School of Business at USC and founder of his own commercial real estate brokerage company. Daniel built his company from one person to a staff of 14, selling over $60 million of property a year.

Although Daniel is grateful for his success in business, he is most proud of the philanthropic work he has done. He has contributed to the Challenged Athletes Foundation and the Buddy Bowl, for which he raised a total of over $1 million. He is currently chair of the President's Council of the San Elijo Lagoon Conservancy and has twice been Chairman of the Board of his Church. Daniel serves on the Board of Directors and Chair of the Community Events Committee for the Solana Beach Chamber of Commerce.
