Smart Voter Political Philosophy for Donald F. Omsted

Candidate for
Board Member; Leucadia Wastewater District

This information is provided by the candidate

I believe that my political philsophy agrees with 98% of our citizenship. One reason our Nation is so great is that we agree on most issues, and if there is disagreement, we do it in a peaceful way. Most of our political "noises" are border issues. They go back and forth and the Nation keeps running. Very few of us think children should return to factories. Now that is a major issue we solved years ago. We 'all' agree on that.

One of the most difficult issues is pay and retirement. Treatment of employees is cruicle in a well functioning organization. Besides pay, and most important, is how the employees feel about their work. Employees treated with respect and dignity work the best. Many times great ideas come the person closess to the pipes. If their ideas and reccomendations are thoughtfully listened to, they will know their imput is important. And the District will operate much more efficiently. Employee relations are one of my major concerns.
