MICHAEL K. MORASCO

Mike Morasco was born in New Orleans, LA in December of 1955. The Morasco family moved to Escondido in 1967. Mike attended Glen View Elementary School, Orange Glen Junior High School and Orange Glen High School, graduating from "O.G." in 1974.

Mike attended college at Palomar Junior College, Brigham Young University, California State University Northridge and U.C.L.A. Prior to completing college Mike served a two-year mission for The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints in Buenos Aires, Argentina. Upon his return Mike married his high school sweetheart, Pamela Marler.

Mike and Pam have four children (Jamie, Jared, Carli and Kelsey), two son / daughter-in-laws (Jon and Arielle) and two granddaughters (Giada and Myla).

In 1990 Mike was elected to the first of three terms as Trustee of the Escondido Union High School District. Mike has also served on the Valley Center Community Planning Group and has been a Board Member for the (Escondido) East Valley Association and Charles Hume Pool. Mike has also been active in Boy Scouts of America over the past several decades.
