Pension Truth in California
Unfunded state pension liabilities are a huge problem for everyone. The PEW Center on the States has estimated the national shortfall at $757 BILLION. (An SBS, State Budget Solutions, report says -nationwide- it's more likely a $4.6 TRILLION shortfall.) *SBS is a nonpartisan budget reform organization that compiles data on budget trends across the 50 states.
Struggling: Jobs, Money and Good Sense.
Estimates are that $1.4 trillion in "excess private bank reserves" is on deposit at the 12 Federal Reserve banks and $2 trillion of excess cash exists that corporations are sitting on. Vista City Council sets municipal policies and priorities. We need localized policies which will create conditions under which everyone will have a better chance to be successful.
