If elected, my goal will be to improve the quality of education for all students by working with parents, teachers and administrators.

I. Parents: I will establish better communication with parents by improving the communication with the community and community partners (churches, non-profits, recreation councils, planning groups, community leaders, etc.). I have made a profession in doing this.

I will bring back the PTA Programs in every school to get parents more involved with their child's education. Parents need to be involved as another check and balance, and their opinion/critique is vital to the school district's improvement.

II. Teachers: I will establish better communication with our teachers by emphasizing messages of trust and teamwork. We need to share common goals. Goals to teach and inspire our children to succeed. I will support and provide teachers with the tools necessary to make this happen. III. Administrators: I will better manage our budget to create the environment necessary for high-quality education.
1. I will review why funds are allocated to certain contractors and not others by emphasizing and/or enacting a fair and competitive bidding process:

2. I propose that the district adopt rules that would forbid school board members from accepting any items valued more than $10, especially anything from contractors.
3. I propose that all budget issues are made available online 72 hours before a meeting.
4. I will review and clarify our conflict of interest by-laws to make sure we have fair hiring practices.
