- Business Leader -

Ben Kalasho has been a local small business owner for 12 years. He has always strived to achieve good business practices and customer service. Through his businesses, he has always contributed to charity and worthy causes. In 2010, Ben received an award from The East County Small Business Association for creating more then 50 new jobs in a recession. Taking pride in his work, Ben never refuses to role up his sleeves and lend a helping hand. He continues to impress his local neighbors, colleagues and friends. Ben believes that a persons character can be judged by the way he treats his staff. His business continues to grow and prosper and Ben continues in his philanthropy and community outreach.

- Community Leader -

Helping the community is Ben's top priority. Ever since he was young, he joined teams to clean graffiti off of our streets and bridges as well as removing debris from our local beaches. He continues to volunteer to this day. In 2010 Ben hosted multiple fundraisers for our Military. After he noticed the difference that one person with drive can make, he quickly began to organize other successful events. In 2011 he volunteered at his local church where he is currently holding the position of Usher. Ben has been involved in helping parents read to children. He has raised money through various charities to ensure that parents and children are literate. In early 2012, Ben decided to help out with Relay for Life and raise Cancer awareness. He joined with local groups to organize fundraisers at Ben's local Businesses. Currently, Ben is working with local Dignitaries in awarding Teacher of the Year in East County. Ben Kalasho is also a proud member of the Chamber of Commerce.
