  • Reform the county's pension system by adopting a pension cap to put an end to outrageous 6-figure executive-level pensions on top 1%.
  • Cut county red tape, improve services to the public, add greater restrictions to spending to make the county Board more accountable to the public.
  • Stick to the County's General Plan - do not let developers cram the backcountry and our open space with strip malls and huge developments.

Priorities:
  • The #1 priority has to be facilitating job-creation. We have to create a better environment for businesses to start, grow and stay in our region.
  • Reform the County's pension system; eliminate the Supervisors' $5 million slush; abolish the $12,000 car allowance added to pensions.
  • Establish a regional Ethics Commission with a Whistleblower component for the County's 16,000 employees.
