Smart Voter Political Philosophy for Pamela Comstock

Candidate for
Council Member; City of Santa Cruz

This information is provided by the candidate

I am inspired to run for Santa Cruz City Council to ensure the voices of our residents are heard in public policy-making.

I want to support equality, offer compassionate and effective communication and, most of all, fight for safer neighborhoods.

My priorities and focus lie in 3 main areas: 1- A push for public safety and crime prevention. 2- A strong local economy, which funds services vital to our community. 3- Connecting with community to support services, culture and the environment.

For the past few years, I have brought us together for common causes. We've cleaned up drug dens, we have marched to honor crime victims and we have positively loitered troubled areas. I have seen firsthand, that when you are given a chance to participate in the solution, you show up. When I am elected to City Council, I will serve as the bridge that joins the best of Santa Cruz's past with the potential of Santa Cruz's future. Together, we can solve our most pressing issues.

I represent a new voice and new vision for Santa Cruz. I want our city to remain a wonderfully unique place to live for generations to come. Let's move forward, together.
