Occupation: Attorney
Age: 31
Education and Qualifications:
I would appreciate the opportunity to serve the community and build a better and safer city.

At this time the City of Morgan Hill faces many decisions that will impact its residents. While other California cities are filing for bankruptcy, the budget will be an important issue to ensure Morgan Hill continues to prosper. I would support a fiscally responsible budget and if necessary make reductions without cutting essential services or jobs. Also, the city council must promote economic growth by having a business friendly environment while maintaining the city's small-town feel. The city council should do all it can to support local businesses.

The safety of residents is of crucial importance. I would back the police department to ensure public safety. Morgan Hill must remain family-friendly.

After graduating from Santa Clara University School of Law, I have practiced real estate law. My wife Marilyn is a San Jose native with family roots in the South County. Her great-grandfather owned a cattle ranch on Day Road. We are active members of St. Catherine's Church and volunteer at local events. Also, I serve on our homeowners' association board.

I respectfully ask for your vote.
