Candidate for
Board Member; Moreland School District

California is in a unique time. The Moreland community continues to do more than get through tough times, they succeed. As a trustee over the last 8 plus years I have been very fortunate to see the growth and achievement continue and the Moreland Students win.

We are going to have to figure out how to move forward with less. Economic recovery is not eminent but today's students can't wait. We have positioned our district well for these tough times and will need to more diligent and cutting edge. We will have to be wise with the funds trusted to the district though bond and parcel taxes passed in recent years by our community.

Every aspect of education is on the radar with Common Core Standards and Race to the Top just to name a few.

I look forward to working though these issues for today's students of the Moreland Community.
