Education and Qualifications:
The Union School District provides an outstanding atmosphere in which our children learn. I've been privileged to participate in the progress of our schools, serving as a current board member, Home and School Club President, chair of two district committees, music volunteer, and a classroom volunteer. I'm passionate about public education and work hard to maintain and improve the quality of our schools.

Our district offers a superb educational program. Our schools have earned exceptionally high test scores and continue to make excellent progress. Prudent management of the district allows us to continue to offer high quality programs despite severe cuts in state funding. I'm committed to our tradition of excellence in helping our children succeed.

As a board member, I emphasize quality teachers and staff, financial stability, educational skills, and effective use of technology in our schools. I protect our music and art programs and recognize that high quality schools help stabilize property values.
