Education and Qualifications:
As a teacher and high school educator, I realize the importance of having our students fully prepared for high school. As your school board member, I will continue to ensure that our teachers and students have the tools and resources necessary to accomplish this goal.

My four children have attended and graduated from schools in the Franklin-McKinley School District. I am very much aware of the importance of providing a solid educational foundation for our students at the elementary and middle school level. This is the reason why I have served as your school board member for the past eighteen years.

During this time, I have been a strong advocate of high academic standards, parent involvement, fiscal responsibility and effective staff development for our teachers. I have also been a strong proponent of school safety so that our schools can be safe and comfortable learning environments.

I am committed to working with fellow board members, our Superintendent, teachers, classified staff and school administration to ensure that we provide the best education possible for our students. Every student is truly special and deserving of this effort.
