Education and Qualifications:
As the father of two Cambrian Unified School District students, I care deeply about the future of our schools. I currently serve on the Cambrian school board. It's my goal that all of our children receive a world class education.

We must prepare our students to succeed in the 21st Century economy. As a boardmember, I will work to ensure we attract and retain top-quality teachers and that our academic programs--such as math and science--are the strongest in the area.

The District's current financial condition has led to proposals to shorten our school year. Our kids need more time in the classroom, not less. If elected, I'll work to protect the length of our school year. Class sizes have grown too large. As the economy improves, I will work to reduce our class sizes from 29 students in some classrooms to 25.

As a Cambrian Park Little League coach, I know that safe, positive activities for students is essential to their success. I will strive to improve those programs for our kids at our schools.
