As a father with a SJSU Bachelors in Business, entrepreneur, business owner, and 37-year resident of San José, Johnny will support Mayor Reed to get San José's finances in order, attract business to San José, and make government more efficient. Johnny's 17 years of experience as a financial advisor, and long-time devotion to our community led to his appointment by Mayor Reed to the Mayor's transition team.

Johnny's strong support of pension reform, creating new jobs and opposition to taxes, as well as his ability to work with a broad cross section of communities has earned him the endorsement of the San José Silicon Valley Chamber PAC, Silicon Valley Taxpayers' Association, Water Board Director and former Supervisor Don Gage, Supervisor Mike Wasserman, Councilmember Pete Constant, former candidate Denelle Fedor and Rick Callender, 2nd Vice President California Coalition of NAACP. Johnny has chaired both San José's Small Business Development Commission and Santa Clara County's Human Relations Commission.

Johnny's priority is to restore services to our residents including opening our libraries and community centers full time, and opening the never opened new Police Substation as well as increasing the number of police officers and firefighters.
