Dear Fellow Residents,

My wife, Anne Munemitsu, and I have raised our children here in Monte Sereno, the city in which Anne herself was raised.

I want to strengthen our sense of community and will work to improve the City's relationship with its residents. I will vigorously oppose any self-serving action by a City Council member.

Serving on the Site & Architecture Commission, I now have a hands-on understanding of how our municipal government functions and would be honored to apply this experience to serving on our City Council. My Site & Architecture Commission experience has also focused my attention on the current land-use issues facing our City.

I value the country-like, non-commercial character of Monte Sereno and pledge to preserve the historical, quiet lifestyle that has been the hallmark of Monte Sereno for more than 50 years.
