Questions & Answers

1. What experience and training would you bring to this office?

I believe I have the ability to work with the District governance team and the SJECCD community in addressing the challenges our district is now facing. I have lead teams in the past through tough times and transformed them into high performing and award winning teams. I understand the funding and budgeting process for community colleges and I have a strong background in process improvement through my 22 years of educational and corporate experience. Here is how I will work to fix the challenges San Jose/Evergreen Community College District is facing. I have also spent the last 10 years building university programs which prepare students for the high tech industry. This is an area which needs to be addressed in our current school system, preparing students for the jobs in the surrounding community.
