Shane Singh Small Business Advocate

My commitment to Sacramento has lasted a lifetime. This is where I went to school, run my business, and organize recreational activities for our young people.

Sacramento's Charter should reflect a community that:

Wants to see small businesses expand and provide good jobs Values parks and recreation activities for people of all ages Provides safe streets for people to enjoy their communities

We can do these things by having an open and collaborative process that considers all public input and then crafts something that works for the entire Sacramento community.

As someone who works as a small business advocate, I help local businesses deal with the red tape government sometime puts in their way. I can bring that experience to the charter commission.

When I am not working, I help run a local youth soccer program that serves more than 1,200 kids. The commissioners need to be willing to get out there and figure out what the people of Sacramento expect from their city government. I will do that.

As a life-long Sacramento resident, businessman and soccer coach, I am confident that I can provide a unique perspective to this commission. Call 215-5669 if you have any questions.
