I am honored to be raising my family in Elk Grove, a city with strong neighborhoods and hard working families.

You gave me the privilege of serving on the Elk Grove City Council because you wanted change. In the six years I have represented you we opened up City Hall to residents, gave neighborhoods a voice before decisions are made, lowered the rate of violent crimes, and started bringing jobs to our city. I am particularly proud of my leadership role in convincing a State Agency to bring 1,500 new jobs to our city.

As your Mayor, I vow to continue to lead the reform. This challenging economy is the perfect time to re-think how we govern and how we serve the needs of people and neighborhoods.

The road to Elk Grove's economic recovery is to bring quality jobs and services closer to our homes. By working together, we can forge lasting solutions that will benefit every Elk Grove resident for years to come.
