Parents and their children should be offered a wide variety of high quality educational programs which best fit their needs and desires.

I will work to expand the alternatives we have developed which include: a new charter school for middle school students; the high rigorous International Baccalaureate Program; magnet school programs encompassing pre-medicine, pre-law, communications, and the performing arts; the recently developed robotics program; independent study and on-line learning programs; and, career academies in culinary arts, medicine, and public service.

I will continue to modernize classrooms with state-of-the-art technology; enhance programs in music, art, and the performing arts; and, improve facilities for athletic programs.
