This information is provided by the candidate
To continue to ensure the safety of the residents of District 1 especially the Seniors
Public Safety is the primary concern for District 1. To ensure that the each and every individual feels safe and secure in their homes, on the streets and in their daily lives. To assist the police to decrease the number of homeless persons on the streets, to decrease the number of drug addicts and alcoholic that loiter on the streets and around the shopping areas.

To educate the Seniors on the importance of contacting the police and filing a police report not just an incident report and the differences between the two types of reports.

To ensure that the City budget continues to contain the monies needed for police cars, officers, drug units and taskforces,which will increase the reponse to reports of crimes especially in the Senior Areas.

To ensure that the traffic flow will allow the response to calls be timely and without delay.
