Candidate for
Council Member; City of Moreno Valley; Council District 5

As a resident of Moreno Valley in District 5 for 28 years, I have a true vested interest in this City. By using key values of Transparency and Accountability, I want to:

• Work towards improving our local economy by providing small businesses with the support they need to be successful.
• Provide both job and career opportunities as a direct result of local job training resultig in local hiring
• Work with the School Districts in keeping our kids in school, reducing the drop-out rate as a result of a quality education and provide youth driven activities in the community to keep them off the streets. The youth of today is the future of tomorrow.
• Support ongoing efforts and implement new ideas to make this City safe. Encourage Neighborhood watches, provide suitable volunteers to help our peace officers in monitoring the camera surveillance, increased check-points and provide volunteer ride-alongs for solo officers. Temporary solutions with the ultimate goal in mind of bringing back officers who were laid off.
• Clean-up the Edgemont District and provide them with the necessary support to improve the streets and neighborhoods.

I support the community's decision to elect their Mayor and to establish term limits for City Council positions.
