I can bring a fresh perspective to the Huntington Beach Union High School District Board of Trustees.

I understand how school budgets work and will do my best to ensure that teachers and students are given the tools needed for success.

I want to ensure that on each of the high school campuses there is a climate of life long learners who are self-disciplined and effective problem solvers.

There must be equity among the diverse high schools that exist in the HBUHSD.

Every effort must be made to keep abreast of the ever changing technology and the best ways to use technology to enhance student learning.

Science, engineering, technology and math must be emphasized to prepare today's students for tomorrow's jobs.
