It has been my privilege to represent you on the Fountain Valley City Council for the last four years I bring over 30 years of Fountain Valley public safety and community service leadership experience with a unique understanding of our diverse community, your neighborhoods, and the local businesses that keep Fountain Valley "A Nice Place to Live, Work, and Play." Serving on the City Council has been challenging and rewarding. Balancing the budget each year by controlling expenses and reducing future pension liabilities through re-negotiating all outside vendor and employee contracts reduced City expenses by five million dollars, while adding one additional paramedic unit during this time. Subsequently our reserve funds increased despite the Legislature's raid of our local tax revenues. I was honored to serve as your Mayor in 2011 and I would be honored to represent you again on the Fountain Valley City Council to assure continuity and financial stability during these ever changing economic conditions. I promise to continue to be accessible and am committed to listening to you. My priority is fiscal responsibility, while maintaining the high level of police, fire, public works, and community services you enjoy and deserve.
