I would emphasize the family and the value that a strong family brings to our city and society.As a city councilman I would be vigilant in making sure that all of our policies and activities promote and support the family. Laguna Niguel is known for being "family friendly" and I will do everything I can to keep it that way. I would encourage activities and events that are suitable for families and support the installation and maintenance of family oriented sporting facilities and coordinate activities with our local schools as much as possible. I would be a firm supporter of local youth groups, sports teams and local scouting activites and make city facilites available to them as much as possible. Crown Valley Park is a major resource for the encouragment of family outings and events. I am very interested in seeing how the park can be improved to make it more accessable to our families as they come together for city sponsored events and to use the facilites for sporting events, picniking and enjoying the Botanical Preserve. |
