Candidate for
Council Member; City of Laguna Hills

AJ Djowharzadeh, a small business owner with a heart for the city of Laguna Hills and a desire to see the city back in the hands of the people rather than in the hands of politicians who are more concerned about their own special interests and over inflated salaries. AJ Djowharzadeh is a chemical engineer and consultant, working with semiconductor and chemical companies worldwide. AJ is a cancer survivor, a self-made successful salesman and sales trainer, experienced researcher, gifted storyteller, listener, and observer. Not only does he have a warm smile and gentle humor, but he is the inventor of a scientific breakthrough called "The Hot Diet." Most important though, is his unshakable faith in God and love for humanity that uniquely qualifies him to address the problems of the city government and hold the leaders of Laguna Hills to a standard of operation that would return the city to place of integrity and honesty. AJ received his chemical engineering degree from the University of Oklahoma School of Chemical, Biological, and Materials Engineering. Currently the owner of a business consulting company, AJ spent nearly three decades working for such major corporations in the semiconductor industry as Western Digital, Commodore, Philip A. Hunt Chemical, Olin Corporation, and Laporte, Inc. One more item of interest which speaks of his heart to serve, he is a volunteer in the California State Military Reserve. The CSMR is a volunteer operational force upon which the California National Guard depends. Its members are subject to call to state active duty by the Governor of the State of California. He and his wife have two children and reside in Laguna Hills, California
