Santa Ana is the place I've called home all my life, I was raised and educated here. I believe that education should be primary to all else in our Golden City. It is the foundation of prosperity that benefits us all. I trust that this is a standard which teachers and council members of our community will support.

I attended Glenn L. Martin Elementary, George Washington Elementary, MacArthur Fundamental Intermediate and Century High School. I was not able to complete my education at Century, however. I sought alternative education through Taller San Jose and was able to earn my High School Equivalency Certificate. I'm currently pursuing my post-secondary education while maintaining a full time job.

As a prior student and result of Santa Ana Schools I understand the challenges many students face; some of whom lack the skills to meet said challenges. Skills which I believe should be learned early and often. I want all students to have access to the implements needed to increase confidence in themselves and succeed in all aspects of life.
