Sergio Sanchez represents District One of the City of Salinas, the most diverse and densely populated district in the city. Sanchez began his career in public service in November 2002 when he was first elected to serve as a member of the Salinas City Council. He was re-elected in November 2004 and again in November 2008. Currently Sanchez Chairs the Public Services Committee for the City of Salinas and is Chair of the Monterey County Regional Taxi Authority. Sanchez is a member of the Emergency Medical Service Greater Salinas Regional Council, he serves as a Director of the Monterey Salinas Transit District, is an Alternate to the Transportation Agency of Monterey County (TAMC) Board of Directors and is an Ex-Officio Member of Salinas United Business Association's (SUBA) Board of Directors. Sergio Sanchez works as District Director for Assemblymember Luis A. Alejo, 28th District. |
