Letter to Marina Residents

From working with small and large businesses and providing activities for teens, seniors, and families, I've been working hard as a volunteer for Marina!

I am running again to:

Maintain progress towards a balanced budget with a secure prudent reserve.

Promote Marina's reputation as being business friendly by making the city process easier for potential businesses.

Keep city council meetings friendly and welcoming.

Integrate Marina with CSUMB for a robust future, economically and socially.

Progress toward a pedestrian and bicycle friendly Marina and promote alternative transportation options that attract transit-oriented development.

Work to annex East Campus CSUMB residents into the City of Marina for mutual benefit, so they may fully participate in civic life where they live, work, shop, and pay taxes.

Make Marina more fun for all age groups to fuel a diverse economy.

Support downtown businesses with promotional efforts such as event banners and the business passport program, bringing customers to Marina businesses with the July 4th Street Fair, the renewed Labor Day Parade, and the Otter Fest!

And most of all, because I love Marina and helping families and businesses thrive!
