As a Downey business owner (Downey Publishing Works is a fully integrated Marketing Communications Agency), I will bring real world experience to make practical, common sense decisions. Being transparent and fiscally responsible is essential towards our future, going forward.I understand the role of government is to never compromise our future through reckless spending. Simply put, we can't spend more than we are taking in. I will help generate 50 million dollars in the next four years in additional revenue through grant writing and reaching out to state lobbyist and legislators (As a community we can achieve anything!). With your permission, I can also reach out to private investor groups to relocate their innovative business in one of our vacant buildings. Also bring investors to invest in a new sports complex.
