I strongly believe in the importance of supporting small business and will work with Federal, State and Local Agencies to create employment opportunities for our residents.

- I will bring employment opportunities to Downey by partnering with employee-friendly businesses and providing constant access to job fairs.

- I will encourage small business owners to utilize presently vacant buildings to keep jobs, goods, and services in local neighborhoods.

- I will ensure Downey benefits from the latest in green technology by investing in research and development using a combination of low-interest loans, grants, and tax credits.
