Candidate for
Mayor; City of Ridgecrest

My vision is to maintain Ridgecrest as a great place to live and work, while fostering a business-friendly environment for entrepreneurs and Department of Defense (DoD). My nearly 50 years of living in Ridgecrest has given me an appreciation of what is great about our community as well as an understanding of our challenges. Our city is struggling with harsh economic times. As we continue to weather a nation-wide recession and reduced revenues from the state, we now also need to adjust to impending cuts to DoD. Our best strategy to survive -- even thrive -- under these conditions is to identify and capture additional revenue sources in order to maintain a quality police force and other city services - including infrastructure (streets), recreation and business development. City leaders need to be both transparent and responsive. Please join me in protecting our community's assets, and forging for us an even brighter future.
