Public Safety, crime prevention, eliminating drugs from our streets.

By Frank Elberto Ybarra

Candidate for Council Member; City of San Pablo

This information is provided by the candidate
We must come together and add more law enforcement.
Since moving to San Pablo back in 1983 I have seen our beautiful city being abused by the non-law abiding people living here. We need to add more programs to eliminate the homeless situation by adding more affordable housing and back to work incentives.

The drug crimes have increased in the city and what we must do to eliminate illegal activities is to mandate drug programs to anyone that is caught and incarcerated. Incarceration alone will not solve the problem, however adding a mandatory alcohol and/or drug treatment program to their sentence will at the minimum provide education and treatment strategies for a different lifestyle.

If given the opportunity to serve our community I will have town hall discussions monthly in order for us to unite and come up with some solid plans to enhance our community. I will push to make new and better changes that will include harsher penalties for crime, blight in the community, and equal pay for both men and women. The Casino is making millions of dollars and I will make sure that the money that the city is receiving will be spend on new programs in the city. I need you to participate and vote for me to begin a different direction.
