Nancy is an experienced leader who has been an aggressive fundraiser for our District, an active advocate for our children and a dedicated volunteer helping to educate our children.

A DEDICATED VOLUNTEER

Nancy has been an active volunteer in our community for the past 11 years. The diversity of her volunteer experiences has given her a unique depth of understanding on many issues. 
 Nancy has served as :

• Vice President and Secretary of the Springhill PFC

Nancy's professional background has prepared her for the tough challenges she will face as a school board member. Before leaving her practice at a large international law firm to care for her children, Nancy practiced law for eleven years and also worked in the actuarial field for several years. As an attorney she learned to evaluate legal issues, to think creatively to solve difficult problems, to build consensus and support, and to advocate effectively. As an actuary, she developed an ability to manage complex financial issues which will be invaluable in navigating the complex issues involved in school finance.
