Smart Voter Official Statement for Bob Taylor

Candidate for
Mayor; City of Brentwood

This is a copy of information submitted to elections officials by the candidate

My name is: Bob Taylor

My age is:

My occupation is: Mayor of Brentwood; Brentwood Small Business Owner

Education and Qualifications:

What is best for Brentwood is my only interest. As your Mayor for six years, I have worked hard to make solid decisions for our citizens.

Brentwood's finances are on solid ground, when other cities are failing. We balance the budget every year with a 30% - $11,500,000 reserve for emergencies. We have thriving businesses, retail and restaurant opportunities. Our schools are top notch and our police work successfully to keep neighboring crime out of our community.

Brentwood is a wonderful, safe community. I am committed to doing whatever it takes to keep it that way. I am honored to have earned the endorsement of Contra Costa County District Attorney Mark Peterson and Sheriff David Livingston.

I am especially proud of my work to secure funds for widening Highway 4, building the Highway 4 Bypass and the future Sand Creek Interchange - creating approximately 2,700 new local jobs.

I know I appear "corny" at times - dressing in a turkey suit to raise money for families in need. As your Mayor, I will do anything to better our community. I am accessible day or night at (925) 470-7073 to hear your views or solve a problem.

Thank you for the privilege of serving you.
