I am running for re-election to the Pinole City Council. I have been an elected councilmember since February 2008 and would like to continue to be part of an aggressive Council that has been solving the issues facing our community.

Since I was elected, the Council has adopted balanced budgets each year to meet the challenges the economy and the State have imposed. I have voted to make the critical choices and cuts necessary to keep providing crucial City services, without raising taxes.

I am married and have 2 children and 3 grandchildren. I have operated a construction business for over 35 years and have a background in administration and finance.

I served on the Pinole City Council, 1986-90, Mayor 1989, and a current member of the Pinole Historical Society and the West Contra Costa Transportation Authority.

I am semi-retired and do construction expert consulting. I have the time and energy to serve Pinole.

I am looking forward to continuing to meet the challenges and serve on the Pinole City Council. Thank you for your support and vote.
