Education and Qualifications:

My name is Erick Stonebarger. I'm running for re-election to the Brentwood City Council. My great grandfather moved to this area in the1920's and I'm a 4th generation Brentwood farmer. My wife and I raise 2 boys (8 & 6) and 2 girls (4 & 2).

Over the past 6 years I've voted against affordable housing apartment projects. I believe we have enough very high density housing, although I support affordable housing for seniors as assets to our community.

I believe in fiscal sustainability. I've encouraged the use of our 10-year fiscal model to help reduce over $40,000,000 in long term expenses through labor negotiations while still offering a package that hires quality employees.

I strongly believe that government's primary responsibility, along with infrastructure, is to provide public safety. I voted against the New City Hall, although it's beautiful, I believe it's taken away our ability to add more cops to our streets!
