Candidate Statement

Board membership comes with a responsibility to the residents of the San Ramon Valley to maintain the exceptional fire district we have, maintain our top international ratings, and most importantly protect our community. We have to accomplish this while keeping retirement costs at a sustainable level.

I am also committed to properly managing a strong business plan that will position our District for the future requirements of the citizens we serve.

My experience that I draw upon is a 25 year career in corporate management at the executive level of a Fortune 500 firm, private investor, and currently President and CEO of a corporation. I currently serve on the board of directors for two nonprofit foundations here in the San Ramon Valley.

I am a 25 resident in the San Ramon Valley and active in our community.

I have a B.S. degree in Business Management, post graduate business classes, and I am an experienced board member.

I understand the budget process and the importance of making wise decisions when considering the proper allocation of your tax dollars to the District expenses.

I understand as a board member, I have a fiduciary responsibility to you, the tax payer. I share your concern that our expenses have to be sustainable without tax increases.

I will work to insure that if you dial 911, you will continue to receive the lifesaving, internationally recognized response service levels that we enjoy in our valley. I will continue to provide the proper guidance, direction, and oversight you expect of your board.
