This is a copy of information submitted to elections officials by the candidate

My name is: Mark Ross

My age is:

My occupation is: Vice Mayor

Education and Qualifications:

Martinez is turning the corner, is financially stable, and I ask for your vote to continue our community's stability and progress.

Our downtown is becoming visibly vibrant once again with improvements through creative use of public space, streets, and buildings. I will continue to help create a safe, thriving downtown that focuses on dining, arts, and retail.

As a proponent of improving our parks through judicious use of your tax dollars, our parks are amongst the finest in the Bay Area. The new pool has become wildly popular, and exemplifies the creative and smart stewardship of your money.

Our general funds reserves of $3.25 million are nearly 20% of our balanced budget. Our accountability is recognized as amongst the best in California. As a budget steward, I will continue this conservative and transparent approach to your tax dollars.

On your behalf, I will continue my efforts to help Martinez enjoy public safety, better roads, cleaner air, and vibrant ecosystems that don't flood: a human and physical infrastructure that serves us well.

My support for Open Space-acquisition and preservation-will continue.

My efforts to keep the Marina open, viable and beautiful will continue.

My support for lending assistance and cooperating with our school districts will continue- we are one community raising our children-not isolated government bureaucracies.

Martinez is heading in the right direction, and together we can continue making a nice place even better.

I am honored ask for your vote to continue my public service on our City Council.
