Education and Qualifications:

As a father of two young children, I am invested in the future of Pleasant Hill. I not only own a business here, but am also involved in many organizations focused on the betterment of our community. I was honored to be named 2011 Pleasant Hill Business Person of the Year.

I serve as President of the Pleasant Hill Chamber of Commerce, which has given me great insight into the needs of our business community and opportunities to retain and attract new businesses to Pleasant Hill. I have also served as a volunteer or sponsor for the Foundation for Pleasant Hill Education, Pleasant Hill Baseball Association, Pleasant Hill Community Foundation, Special Olympics, Contra Costa Food Bank, Christ the King, Salvation Army, Meals on Wheels, Boy Scouts, Rotary Club, Recreation and Park District, and the summer concert series.

As your Council member, I will continue to be a dedicated advocate for this community, focusing on making Pleasant Hill a great place to live and helping our business community thrive in these tough economic times.

My wife Ashley and I feel so fortunate to raise our girls here in Pleasant Hill. We look forward to continuing to give back to this great community.
