My name is: Bob Nealis

My occupation is: Retired International Business Executive

Education and Qualifications:

Danville has been the home of my wife, Valerie, and me for more than thirty years. We consider ourselves most fortunate to have been able to raise our two daughters here and have them attend Danville public schools. I am hoping to receive your vote for Town Council member so that I can help to preserve and enhance the special charm and high quality of life that make Danville a jewel in the Bay Area.

I believe my management expertise would be valuable in helping to oversee Danville's government. I recently retired as Director of International Sales for Dreyer's Grand Ice Cream and have been a business executive for more than 26 years since graduating from UC Berkeley.

My community service experiences would also assist me on the Town Council. I believe in the importance of community service, and currently am an active member of the Contra Costa County Search and Rescue team and a certified First Responder. In recent years, I have chaired successful fundraising events in support of local underprivileged youth and have been the President and a member of the Willows Theatre Company Board. Occasionally you will find me as a Ball dude for the San Francisco Giants.

I would be honored and proud to serve our Danville community as a member of our Town Council. I seek no personal gain from the position, other than the privilege of using my professional, community service, and personal skills to help us secure a bright future for Danville while maintaining respect and appreciation for its past.
