My Acomplishments
Volunteered as a teacher assistant when the Mount Diablo Adult Ed had English as a Second Language classes at Shore Acres School

Volunteered at the CC Café senior lunch program

As president of the Bay Point Resident Association lead leadership training to community members at large.

Planned and celebrated several activities including celebrating National Night Out.

Brought the popular CERT (Certified Emergency Response Team) Program to Bay Point.

Appointed to serve in the Municipal Advisory Council by Federal Glover several years ago, and still serving.

One of the founders of the Bay Point Garden Club, which helped developed the Ambrose Community Garden next door to the Ambrose Community Center. I serve as one of the coordinators of the "Spring Derby" which we celebrate Memorial Day.

Most recently I was elected president of the Bay Point Historical Society a group of volunteers that are bridging the gap between the past ant the present through education, social functions and the preservation of local landmarks.

Awarded Resolution by the Contra Costa County Board of Supervisors for VITA Site Coordinator for the Earn It! Keep It! Save It! Program.

DOW Chemical Community Advisory Board

Awarded Resolution by the Contra Costa County Board of Supervisors for the Bay Point Works Teen Video Project.

Member of Mt. Diablo Unified School District Bay Point Ad/Hoc Committee
