Education and Qualifications:

Bachelor of Science Degree - Business Administration University of Redlands, California; Graduate Certificate - Engineering Economics Iowa State University

Clayton resident for over thirty years, and a small business-owner. Since 1998, Member of the Clayton Business and Community Association (CBCA), serving as Entertainment and Security Chair, Art and Wine Festival. Co-producer, "Concerts In The Grove," Security Chair, Oktoberfest, and Chair, Clayton Classic Golf Tournament.

Served on the City Planning Commission, 1997 to 1999, and was its representative to TRANSPAC, the county planning authority.

Member, Special Committee, to select the Clayton Police Chief in 1999, and from 1979 to 1989, was Commanding Officer, Clayton Police Department's Reserve Division.

From 1991 to 1996, I was Chief, California Bureau of Security and Investigative Services, appointed by the Governor.

From 1993 to 2009, I was a Board Member, United Way of the Bay Area, and current member of its Finance Committee.

I intend to be responsive to our citizens in all matters before the Council, and preserve Clayton's small-town environment. My goal is to provide leadership and direction in guiding Clayton towards a sound economic future.
